Postcards Home

Postcards Home began as an effort to maintain a physical connection to Home after I was forced to leave mine in Syria because of growing civil unrest. The postcards could travel the distance I couldn't and could bring news of my activities, desires and confusion. As it became clear that I would not return to my home in Syria, my idea of Home shifted from the place in which I had lived (that still housed my deserted belongings) to my childhood home, to hotel rooms and temporary addresses in the city in which I saw my near future. After purchasing my first house, I continued to document my travels in an exploration of home, place and time.
